      Interview

The HR person was very knowledgable, asked a lot of technical questions. It wasn't a usual 'company fit' interview. After the interview, the provided a feedback and even offered a feedback call.

      Project Manager Interview

      16 Feb 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Dataiku (New York, NY)

      Interview

I completed 6 interviews over the course of 1.5 months, including an hour-long presentation that took 3+ hours to prepare. I received positive feedback at each stage, and the conversations with the team were pleasant. I made sure to ask how the current economy was affecting hiring and was told that this position was already budgeted for and therefore would be moving forward despite market volatility. I was told an offer would be sent to their chosen candidate about three weeks after my last interview. The recruiter followed up with me around then and said an update about the position was to follow about a week later. A week passed and I heard nothing. I followed up via email and was notified that priorities changed and they have decided to not fill this position, but would maybe reach back out in a few months. It is extremely frustrating to partake in an unreasonably long interview process, which has been proven ineffective time and time again. Such a lengthy process is not reflective of a company that is efficient or innovative, but to invest all this time and energy for a role that DOES NOT EVEN EXIST is reprehensible. I would urge any candidate to think twice before applying here/agreeing to the interview process and I suggest this company does a complete overhaul of its talent acquisition strategy.
