I applied online. I interviewed at David Lloyd Clubs (Glasgow, Scotland) in May 2026
Interview
Attended a group interview for the receptionist role at David Lloyd Glasgow West End. There were around 100 candidates present with only 3 staff members running the session, which made the process feel very impersonal and disorganised. There was little to no opportunity for individual introductions or meaningful interaction, making it difficult to demonstrate experience, personality, or stand out in any memorable way. Overall, it felt more like a large recruitment event than an actual interview and didn’t feel respectful of candidates’ time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Group interview, a question about receipt ion being busy and what you would do in that instance. However there’s no room to even answer as you’re split from a group of 100 to 20!
I applied online. I interviewed at David Lloyd Clubs (Leeds, WI) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very standard interview. Asked me about my hobbies, interest in the job, experience, how I would be described and how I work in a team. Wasn’t a very long interview
Group interview with forty people, one manager and one supervisor, only chose one person for the position, made us do useless group activities ,boasted about thier benefits, managers didn’t know anything about the job role ,won’t recommend applying.
