I get to the "second interview," an all day event, where I shadowed someone and another employee for the day. The person I was shadowing said we were going to do some work for the museum of natural science and I was excited about that. We start off to Conroe, but first a pit stop. We have to stop somewhere to get his car fixed..When he got gas, I asked the other employee, who was younger, what he thought of the job and he said he wasn't allowed to tell me. Red Flag. We finally get to Conroe and we are going door to door in the heat, selling coupons for the museum of science. A lot of people kick us out and the person I shadowed literally said "we ignore the 'no soliciting' signs." After awhile, it was time for lunch and he was going to buy me food. He already ordered the food online when he asked what I thought about the job. Obviously by this point, I knew I would hate it. It was nothing that they advertised about and everything was told like it was a secret. When I told him how I felt, he dropped me off at a Starbucks, no lunch, and left me in Conroe. Unprofessional and awful. Luckily, I had someone pick me up. Do not interview with them. They do not care about you.
Don't lie in interviews. Be upfront, you wasted my day. They say all these wonderful things to fish you in to just give you the dirty work.
