      Process Engineer Interview

      19 Apr 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Twinsburg, OH
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at DayGlo Color Corp (Twinsburg, OH) in Mar 2023

      Interview

During the 6 week interview process, I went through a series of screenings. Traveling between Cleveland and Twinsburg locations. One phone screening, two on site visits. Met with a total of 7 people during the interview process. By the end of the process with an offer on the way, the hiring manager failed to follow up with me for three weeks. When I pushed my recruiter to find answers, I learned that HR and the hiring manager weren't communicating effectively and changing the conditions of the role. I'd originally interviewed for a position in Twinsburg, which had just started a four day work week. After hearing back from my recruiter, I learned they were entertaining me for Cleveland instead. An hour away from where I lived. I also learned the role would become a contract to hire instead of a direct hire. At a point, the company was entertaining me for a role that resembled nothing of the one I originally applied for. After pushing for answers and a grueling 6 week process, I revoked my application. They mislead me and did not follow up when they had promised to. I would not trust this company.
