I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dayforce (Glasgow, Scotland) in Feb 2017
Interview
If I could report it officially in regards to how I was treated I would. But unfortunately I am not aware of an organization that helps or protects candidates.
Definitely do not recommend going for Dayforce UK, Glasgow.
There are 3 stages, the first 2 are easy but weird.
Third stage is with the Glasgow based team.
Overall for a HR organization, this is worst interview in 10+ years of my software developer career.
Thank you for your note. I am very sorry that this was your experience. The feedback has been passed along to the leadership team and the operational team involved. I can assure you that we take all feedback seriously. I would appreciate more details on the matter, please email me at paul.sandusky@ceridian.com so we can chat further. Thank you.
Other Senior Software Developer interview reviews for Dayforce
General C#, SQL question, and a coding exercise. They are trying to help you if you get stuck. But mostly coding questions are easy when you compare others. If they are looking for full-stack developer probably will face with react, CSS and HTML questions
Terrible. 5 guys watching your screen via video conference as one of them haphazardly copies and pastes a block of text into Rustpad and says: "code that". They didn't seem to have much direction in terms of what they were asking for, as it almost seemed like they were making up what to do next on the fly. It was a complete failure in terms of being a useful assessment of ability. 0 stars.

Question 1
Write code for virtual scrolling in rustpad, with basically no prompt or boilerplate to work off of.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dayforce (Melbourne) in Mar 2023
Interview
1. Pre-call screening with HR (1 hour) 2. First Technical Interview with Software Developement Manager (1 hour) 3. Second Technical Round (2 hours) with two senior developers 1. Poor time management by the interviewers. Started the meeting 5 mins late. 2. Not organised between them (Who must start first and what they should do). One interviewer asking the other who will conduct the interview. 3. Extended the meeting for another 15 mins on top of 2 hours. 4. Not clearly defining the requirements what's needed rather complaining after producing the result. (Use different editor, like to see full implementation, while the interviewer said he is looking for partial implementation) 5. Keeping videos OFF while the interviewee speaks. 6. I was not able to copy the answers from editor to Zoom chat for some reason. Tried all best ways, ctrl C and V didn't work and even buttons didn't work. Interviewer seemed to be annoyed in the end something for which I don't have control over.
