I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DeckTec Outdoor Designs (Golden, CO) in Aug 2017
Interview
It was a bit interesting actually because I arrived a bit early and had no idea how the office inside was setup. It was definitely on the smaller side and Steve wasn't in at the time I arrived so I sat in the room with the engineers/designers for a bit. They were very fun to talk to actually and gave me some good insight before I met with Steve for an interview.
When Steve arrived I spoke with him in the back office. I was originally staffed through a recruiting agency so we were both a little aware of what the other was like going in. Steve went over his passion for the company and where he wanted to see it headed. He asked some questions about my history and what I was looking for.
We definitely matched up well on a lot of our philosophies and it was a clear understanding that the company had room for improvement, but we were to work together to get it there.
