I interviewed at Defence Science & Technology Agency
Interview
It is a smooth process which they asked you about your experience and motivation of joining DSTA. The interviewers are very friendly and helpful and it is a pleasant interview process.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Defence Science & Technology Agency in Feb 2026
Interview
Firstly you have to fill in 3 forms before the interview. As a past employee who is currently on NPL for child caregiving with another company, I was excited to rejoin. I got the interview a few days after submitting referral form, referred by my past colleague turned friend. During the interview there were 3 persons, director and DD of 2 other domains. It was a gruelling 45 mins session where tough questions were asked on why I wanted to come back and how I would be able to adapt back to work after taking a long break. Sensitive questions such as "are you expanding your family?" Were also questioned. At times, it seems that they are trying to break my confidence down by asking me the same questions repeatedly.

I applied online. I interviewed at Defence Science & Technology Agency
Interview
One online aptitude test followed by a panel interview with the director and senior staff members. Quite a standard interview process. They asked some questions on why I want to join government sector and whether I can handle looking at a lot of documents.
