Very poor process. I got calls from two different recruiters for the same position. The screening interview was very boring as the recruiter seemed to not very much interested.
The technical interview was nice. It covered many areas from UI frameworks like Angular and PWA. Then moved to backend API design. Then discussed distributed system design and CAP and PAC-ELC theories. We also discussed some SRE/DEVOPS concepts. Finally, we came to a coding problem which I already knew but was very lazy/less interested to code. So, I spent the rest of the time discussing the algorithms and data structures to be used and explained the time/space complexity and Priority Queues along with the underlying implementation and how to traverse it.
I was surprised as the position requires some technical knowledge but not too deep to the level we discussed, but I nailed it anyway.
Again, the recruiter failed to come back with a feedback before a month, despite frequent reminders. I was not interested was so ever with the job because they offered 90K euros in Germany and I already had couple of offers that are double that number.
The recruiter came back finally saying that I did not pass because I don't have the required technical skills. Given all that chaos, I am not sure if this was the feedback on call or someone else.
