Interview
I passed WG test and received a first interview invite a day after. The interview was very straightforward. The interviewer asked a lot of competency based questions but this was expected beforehand. Nothing tricky in the interview's approach - just a general observational behaviour to see whether the candidate will fit in the firm and the answers tick with the box. All in all there were 10 or so questions, some of them were related to my CV.

It was a 30 min interview mainly competency and commercial questions. It was not a member of the graduate recruitment team so it did feel like a box ticking exercise.

Why Dentons, Why commercial law, who are our competitors
Case study that was non-legal, had to give presentation to associates. A partner interview where you had to advise a client based on a scenario given. Partners would then ask questions based on the scenario to test understanding. Other half of interview was general questions about skills and interests.
Online application; Watson Glaser, followed by a Competency interview, then assessment centre; which includes i. Written Work (1 hour) + Role Play (20 minutes with Associates) ii. Case study + interview (1h 30 with Partners)
