We aim to provide candidates with a clear understanding of what to expect in each stage of our process. In our second-stage interview invitation, we outlined that you would be meeting with our Customer Service Manager and Lead, as well as completing a practical task relevant to the role and spending some time answering role related questions. While we did not explicitly label one of the questions as "role play," our goal was to create a conversational and interactive setting where candidates could demonstrate how they would approach real-life scenarios in the role. That said, we recognise that different candidates have varying levels of experience with this style of interview, and we will take your feedback on board to make expectations even clearer in the future.
As a startup, every team member plays a crucial role, and we take great care in ensuring our hiring process allows candidates to showcase their skills while also enabling us to find the right fit for our team.
