I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Devereux (Viera, FL) in Jul 2011
Interview
Overall, the interview process was well organized. There were 15 scripted questions. Many of which were scenarios. Initially, there were about 8-10 applicants in one room and we filled out apps. Afterwards, each applicant is assigned to a unit manager whcih consisted of 1:2. I felt that I did really great in the interview, but got declined for a job offer. They did call from HR, but it was 2 days later than what they said it would be. If you are new to this area of work, the interview questions might be difficult for you.

Question 1
If you saw a co-worker not doing his/her part in the workplace, how would you feel? What would you do about it?

Interview
The interview in itself was pretty smooth, I did both first and second interviews. Afterwards I was asked to complete the Diana Screen, no problem. I reached out to my recruiter afterwards and got no response. I later reached out the the second recruiter who issued the Diana Screen, she responded to say I passed the Diana Screen. I waited a week before emailing my original recruiter and the second recruiter neither responded. After about three weeks one of my reference told me she was contacted to complete reference form. Weeks later and still no further contact. This shows poor communication and leaves a bad impression about the company. The least either recruiter could have done was to respond to an email.
Easy. They hired me without any experience. They have high turnover so they will hire anyone. Got called a few days later with an offer. I worked there for about 6 months

Asks what you would do in different situations. Explain that restraints will be used on kiddos. Drug test is a mouth swab (believe thats a 24-hour check). Tell you about their campus and include an observation with you observing a unit before deciding to accept job offer. Does not show the culture of working longer than your shift time.
