I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dewey's Pizza (West Chester, OH) in Dec 2024
Interview
Phone interview, seemed going well, then interviewer decides I'm not what they looking for because I wanted a new career learning how to cook...I'm very "GREEN" SO WHY NOT? This interview left me feeling like " Suicidal when you say it's over" like the song. He said he could start me learning in stations then he football kicked me!
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dewey's Pizza (Saint Louis, MO) in Sept 2016
Interview
Asked basic questions about my experience, interests outside of work, availability etc. All the stuff you'd expect. There weren't any oddball/trick questions really. I was frustrated because the job ad clearly stated that they would offered a set schedule every week and when I mentioned that I liked this in the interview, the manager told me that it wasn't actually true. There was a first interview with an assistant manager and then a second one with the GM. If I had accepted I would have had to pass a test on the menu (apparently not as comprehensive a test as they used to give) and then go through a 10 day training process.
