I felt the need to post this because I had a bad experience speaking to a potential team member. I had a panel interview that went well despite several of the attending members not showing a lot of interest and not even turning on their cameras. However during my 3rd round I encountered an engineer that started off the interview with a very condescending tone and questioning that I was qualified for the job in a very disrespectful and defensive manner. My experience far exceeded the minimum qualifications listed for the job and the way in which she introduced herself and questioned my qualifications before giving me a chance to introduce myself was a distraction and made me feel discriminated. In general, several of the people I spoke to were not very welcoming but at least they were respectful. I think this company needs to do a better job at training their employees on how to properly conduct themselves during interviews as well as making a better effort to show a more positive image of the work environment.
