Recommended by a friend who's a respected team member. Originally the role went to another person but months later I found they declined the offer. I was interviewed, and I spoke to the hiring manager, who was the director. During the entire process, she gave the impression she wanted me on the team, directly commenting on what I would do. I was asked to do a presentation (4 Pages) then I was completely ghosted.
