Interview
Very short. Basically just asked if I can write and when I can start. This was a red flag I should have seen coming. I was just out of college and they were asking me to write my own job description.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked if I had experience writing in general.

Interview
This was an odd experience. I received an email stating they have called and emailed but never received a response, yet I never received any communication from them prior to that particular email. I replied, stating that I had not received any missed calls or emails and they asked me for my phone number (but they should have already had it, I assumed...) and I advised they could call today.
I received a phone call, and the woman proceeds to tell me about the company and a lot of irrelevant information that has nothing to do with the job or the interview process. Once she took a break from speaking, I politely asked about the job and the actual opportunity. I then realize that she has no information on the specific role; she didn't even know which job I was applying for. She begins talking about an in-person interview in which I ask about the hiring salary range. She did not have this information either, but rather asked what I was looking for. I respectfully shared my current minimum pay requirement and said she would contact me later with that information. 5 minutes after the phone call, she emails me and says that they don't have any job opportunities that pay at my requested pay range.
I find this odd, and very informal. I appreciate the background information and the excess of information shared but I don't feel this would have been a good fit for me so I'm happy to move on to other opportunities.
They glance at your resume and ask you what you are interested in, and in some cases hire you on the spot. There were no typical interview questions asked.
