Brief and to the point, not a lot of questions, mainly checking availability and other minute details. As long as you have relevant experience, the hiring process is short. The longest part was the background check which can be slow.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dollar Tree in May 2011
Interview
A new store was building in the county and it started out as a one on one interview. Afterwards we had to read information online about the company, met with the hiring manager to register a username and a password, shifts to pass the temporary position, finally passed.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dollar Tree in Jul 2025
Interview
quick and laid back, asked a few questions about your work experience, does let you know ahead of time to bring two forms of ID. They make you feel comfortable enough to understand what the job entails and walks you around the store to let you know where things are and what to expect.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (San Antonio, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
I interviewed and it went well and then I was given a background check and then ghosted after it came back clear. I guess they didn't really need help after all.
