I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Domino's (Houston, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
I went in store and asked if they were hiring. The told me to apply online. About a week went by and i got a call in the middle of the class they set me up for a interview a few days later. The next day i got a missed call the manager left me a voice mail saying she changed the date and time. The day came and it was set for the morning before open and i waited and waited for about 20 minutes, outside. and even 10 mins more because i came early. Then a car pulled up and it was the assistant manager. I asked if she was Jenny, the manager i was suppose to meet but she said no she wasn't suppose to be there until 2 so i went back and at 2 and asked to speak to jenny. it was busy so they just buzzed me in and told me to wait in the office. They had me wait about 25 minutes and then the manager came in and asked me a few questions. the whole interview lasted about 4 minutes. We shook hands and she gave me a time and place for the orientation. The orientation day came and i was about 10 minutes early. It was at a different store. i walked in and told the person in the front that i was here for an interview and with a rude tone she said it is not time and for me to sit down and wait. It was me and another lady waiting there. the orientation. We waited about 30+minutes until the oer came and gave us the orientation which lasted about 20 minutes and we were given the uniform and starting days.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you able to deal with rude customers?, can you wash dishes if needed?, when can you work?, and what do you think working at dominos will be like?
they basically just asked what my availability was and standard questions, i was hired on the spot and was asked to fill out online paperwork before starting. the process was definitely laid back.
Manager asked general questions about how to handle customers. Also asked how I work in general. You also get asked to memorize how to make the specialty pizzas. I got hired on the spot because of their need for more customer service reps
