I applied online. I interviewed at Donor Development Strategies (Des Moines, IA) in Sept 2015
Interview
I didn't even really have a real interview. The director called me up, asked a few questions about my experience (I guess you could call it a phone interview), asked me to come in and fill out some paperwork when I was back in state (I was on vacation visiting family at the time), and that was that. I felt like the "interview" was more of a formality than anything else. I brought copies of my resume and all of that, but it was a done deal.
Not super difficult. They are mainly looking to see what your communication skills are like and if you can have a pleasant interaction with a stranger. My interview lasted around 30 min.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Donor Development Strategies (Madison, WI)
Interview
Had an interview with one of the directors. Was fairly casual and easy-going. I was offered the job on the spot, but asked that I take a few hours to think it over. I think that threw the interviewer off a bit because he didn’t seem very pleased that I didn’t give a direct answer (is that an uncommon practice to take time about a job offer?).

Interview
The interview was informal and comfortable and the questions were easy to answer. I appreciated not being asked the basic "what's your biggest strength/weakness" question. They also asked about my major and what I liked about studying it.

Question 1
They mostly asked about what job experiences I've had in the past and what I learned from them.
