I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash
Interview
Started off with a phone screen with a recruiter in NY (which took about 2 weeks to be scheduled in). The interview experience with the recruiter was pleasant - asked typical questions to gauge my interest in the position, my experience, and what I know about DoorDash.
After the phone interview, I was asked to take a take-home assessment. I had 24 hours to submit the "test". Tested analytical, strategic thinking, and sales skills.
After I "passed" the test, I had 2 skype interviews. To say the least, the experience was very professional. The interview lasted about 1.5 with 2 people. The first interview asked me a lot of questions about my experience and then some situational questions. She was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease! The second interview was not as pleasant. From the start, before I even introduced myself, I felt this pre-judgement from her end. Maybe it was a good thing that I didn't end up getting the job, but personality/culture fit definitely plays a big role into the organization.
