      Strategic Partner Manager Interview

      7 Nov 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

I got contacted by a recruiter very quickly after applying (same day). Before entering the final round, the process was around 3.5 weeks. It is a long interview process, hard to balance with current job. HOWEVER, I genuinely found this interview process to be extremely fun and educational. The team is incredibly passionate, smart, friendly and personable. To say I enjoyed every conversation I had from multiple recruiter calls to the 2 45 minute interviews for my first round would be an understatement. There is a lot of growth and potential happening at DoorDash and the roadmap is incredible. I wish I could have continued to the final round; however, I received an offer elsewhere with a cut-off before my final round. Finally, I cannot say enough good things about the recruiter I was working with. She actually cares about her applicants and took so much time to make sure I was prepared every step of the way. And, the hiring manager for the role (team lead) has great values and visions for building her team. She cares about her employees and its evident not only by her dedication to their professional growth, but also their personal lives and the overall team environment and dynamic.
