The interview process followed a fairly standard structure. It began with a recruiter screen, followed by an initial interview, and then an onsite interview at the corporate facility in Conyers, GA. The onsite discussions with the Director of Product Management, VP of the business segment, and Engineering team were mostly focused on cultural fit, leadership style, and some industry-relevant questions.
Overall, the early stages of the process were professional and positive. However, the final interview with the Business Unit Manager based in Sylmar left a very poor impression. The conversation felt dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational compared with the earlier rounds. It changed my perception of the company and raised concerns about leadership consistency across locations.
I also learned during the process that the Sylmar facility may be closing or transitioning operations to Idaho, which would have been helpful to understand earlier in the interview process. Overall, the company seemed to have strong people in some areas, but the final round created enough concern that I left with a negative impression of the leadership culture.
