This interview process was so smooth and structured. I had a 30 minute call with the recruiter, followed by a 30 minute video call with the manager, and then a 3 hour (3 total interview) panel with 2 senior analysts and the director of the department. The hiring manager interview was mostly behavioral with a basic SQL question to answer. The first part of the panel was a technical interview where I was asked for syntax to solve a few SQL questions. It’s really to see how you think through problems. Then I had a technical deep dive where I had to explain components of past projects. And the final interview was behavioral in nature. They were very quick to respond and schedule in between interviews, and I had the call for an offer within 24 hours of my panel interview. I am beyond impressed with DraftKings and how they coordinated this process and can’t wait to join the team!
