I applied in LinkedIn. I got shortlisted, and HR reached out to me via phone call.
Though the interview was smooth and I was able to answer most of the questions, including problem solving, the interviewer looked too prejudiced. I can very well sense that he had a specific answer in mind, and he wanted the exact same answer no matter what my solution looks like. I implemented the stack as expected, and I helped him understand my test approaches along with the right kinds of testing types, but he still rejected me at the end. I am not sure why I was rejected.
At the end of the day, it makes me sad that interviews are purely about how we perform and how the interviewer sees us. This is mostly out of our control.
