I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox
Interview
Originally applied to the software engineer intern program but was redirected to the launch program. Did a coding challenge (hackerrank) , then a phone screen with a Dropbox Engineer. The engineer did not seem too engaged, which made the experience more difficult than it had to be
Our sincerest apologies for the negative candidate experience. We’re disappointed to hear that the interviewers demeanor intensified an already high pressure situation. We pride ourselves in the area of candidate experience, so it’s deeply disappointing to hear that we did not live up to it.
Very friendly people, entire process was easy, 3 hour interview and given break for water or bathroom. Overall would apply again. Entire team seems very friendly and eager to help and looking for most talented interns
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
First completed an online coding challenge, then did an on campus interview and then did an on site interview in SF. The first interview was not very interpersonal and the interviewer was not particularly friendly. The on site interview consisted of two technical interviews in which you code on the computer and one personal interview in which they asked about previous projects and favorite classes. The onsite interview was difficult, but everyone there was very friendly and welcoming and I could tell the company has a good atmosphere.
