I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Duke Energy (Wilmington, NC) in Aug 2016
Interview
The interview was pretty typical. We talked about his experiences with the company and my desires to work there. He quizzed me on my knowledge of Microsoft Excel. It took me a few months until I heard back from them.
I had one interview and it was only 30 minutes. I ended up getting an offer the next day and was given three days to give a response. Overall, it was not a stressful process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Duke Energy (Durham, NC) in Aug 2024
Interview
Virtual interview, questions were all behavioral. One person asked questions while two others observed. The offer did not include a location or job (generation/transmission/distribution) preference, so I got randomly placed.
Rotational interview with two panel interviewers. Interviewers deliberated after the rotational interview and evaluated against other candidates. No indication of results during interview but received a call post interview that they would like to proceed with bringing me on for the position.
