I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dunkin' (DeKalb, IL) in Mar 2020
Interview
Pretty simple I had to show that I can lead a team of people without supervision. I demonstrated that I knew everything to be successful working there. I also had to be flexible with the company when others call off.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What type of leader I am?
Why do I want the position?
Did I have experience training others?
It was a good interview.
They asked good questions. Availability was respected. The interview flowed nicely. The manager was nice. This was for a new store
I got the job
Super easy interview. They asked about previous barista experience, customer service tactics, conflict resolution strategies etc…the location’s General Manager did the interview along with the assistant manager. If you have previous barista experience, the interview is more of a personality fit assessment than anything else.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dunkin' (New York, NY)
Interview
Simple scenario and background questions. The interview lasted 10 minutes and I was offered a job the following day. Dunkin training doesn’t really happen at the store there is an online portal with recorded Dunkin videos for training purposes.
