I applied online. I interviewed at Dutchie (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
Spoke with recruiter and everything was going well until I was asked about my salary expectations.
I enjoy transparency on wages because let's be real, it is one of the most important aspects in a job. I told the interviewer my salary expectations and then asked for the range in the position I applied for.
I was given a runaround with no tangible response.
A simple "this position is in the range of $XXX-$XXX" would've sufficed honestly.
Needless to say, the next day I was told they were moving forward with other candidates. My guess is, my salary expectations were a lot higher than they bargained for.

Typical questions about stack I work with, experience etc. etc.
Had a virtual meeting with the team, was asked to do a toy project with nextjs and then had a pair programming exercise on the toy project. Last they asked me what my favorit food was. Really nice team
