I had a zoom interview, after was invited to school for walk through. Then met the principal and seen my classroom. It wasn’t bad or hard, very easy going interview.

It was objective and focused on student learning. Asked about experience, philosophy, and ethical questions. Asked about instructional strategies and their effectiveness. Overall, it was positive and let me get to know more about the work

Principals interview applicants at the school level and can help applicants navigate the onboarding process to become full-time teachers in the classroom. You may be hired for one grade level but the principal can move you to an area with a more pressing need or that's a better fit.
