3 rounds - (Recruiter, generic test , assignment) - just to get the hiring manager to explain WHAT the position was actually all about, and what skills were required :( The recruiter was not able to address any of my role related questions at the outset.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EAB in Dec 2015
Interview
The application and interview process was a little enigmatic. I applied online for an analyst position, and received an email about a week later saying that they would like to interview me over the phone for a consulting position. I had a pleasant experience scheduling the phone interview, which occurred about a week later. The interview took about 30 minutes and consisted of simple questions about my educational background, my research experience, and my familiarity with the company. The HR representative was very friendly and I left the interviewing thinking that it went well. She told me that she would report back to the rest of the career management team, and I should heard back from them in about a week with a decision.
About two weeks later, I received an email saying that I was not going to move forward in the interview process for the analyst position, which was the original position that I applied for, not the position that I interviewed for. I was very confused by the email, so I sent a message to the HR representative for clarification. She said that the email I received was just for the analyst position and that they were still working things out on their end in terms of finding the right position for me. Needless to say, I received another email about 2 weeks later saying that they could not offer me a position at this time.

EAB has an organized, well thought-out interview process. I had a call with a recruiter, a test and take-home project (a timed essay), and then two rounds of interviews with case-study questions.
