I only did the initial (virtual) screener interview for this company because I was a bit misled by their job posting. The posting was a rather vague description for "Customer Support Trainee" but after a second look, I realized it was really an outbound direct marketing/sales position that had nothing to do with supporting signed accounts (which we can all agree is generlly customer support). I was put in a zoom call with another candidate who immediately left once he realized the same thing as I did. This is a scam. Still, I decided to continue for the sake of curiosity. The recruiter/screener refused to answer any questions about the position or the compensation and I am convinced they were a freelance screener and not even a real recruiter. She simply asked if I was comfortable doing sales and if I was available full-time. After explaining to her that I was not interested in direct marketing, she insisted that I let the hiring manager call me so I could direct my questions to them. Lol, then why bother screening me?
Please, If you end up in any interview where you are not the only candidate present, and the interviewer is not willing to disclose details, RUN!
