It took a long time between first contact and the offer letter. I first recieved a phone call from HR at headquarters. I went through a phone interview with her, then I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. I was then scheduled for a lunch interview with the hiring manager. Finally I had the "formal" interview when I met with the hiring manager at his office. I was interviewed at the office by 5 different people. After all that, it took 2 weeks to get the formal offer letter. Eaton moves very slow during the interview process from first contact to offer. Since then, I've been through the hiring process. After the "formal" interview a meeting is held with everyone that was part of the interview and we discuss the candidates. While everyone else's comments are taken into account, the hiring manager and HR rep get the final say on who to offer the job.

Process was pretty straight forward. Call with recruiter and then 3 rounds with different levels. Met with HR and manager, then other manager. Process took about 3 weeks from start to finish
