I applied online. I interviewed at Eco-Tec (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The interview itself was not difficult. Generic behavioral questions you would expect. However, the interviewer flat-out asked me "Are you a Canadian citizen?", and pushed for as many details about my status as possible (illegal, of course). Moreover, they had no respect for my time and rescheduled the interview twice (in one case an hour before my interview), only to ghost me after the interview until I reached out.
I do believe I was discriminated against because of my status in Canada, under the pretense of "travel requirements" (despite stating I am a PR and have a US visa).
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eco-Tec (Pickering, ON) in Apr 2012
Interview
I went through 3 interviews, first was with the HR manager on the phone, second was an in-person interview with HR, and the third was in-person interview with the department manager. Only generic interview questions was asked, list of behavior questions, no technical questions. The interviewers were nice and friendly, the entire process took 2 months, I obtained and accepted the offer.
