The interview process was very smooth and engaging. First round with manager, after that, a take-home assignment followed by a talk with CEO.
I got the job offer from them and after getting it, I talked to a few of the previous engineers worked at EcoCart. Following are the feedbacks I collected from them:
1. The product is not scalable and involves a lot of manual processes.
2. They saw little growth in the company.
3. Most of the engineers left the organization in a very short span of time.
Despite all the negative feedback, I got a good impression of their vision, CEO, and management team and decided to take the offer. After taking the offer, I didn't receive any response for a few days despite taking follow-ups. After a few days, I got an apology email from them stating that they have to go back from their offer due to some timeline issues.
I have not only spent significant time in the process but I have also declined another opportunity to pursue this one.
My only recommendation to other candidates would be to be careful and clarify all the points before taking a decision.
But overall the company's management is good and great people so you can pursue the opportunities with them but with extra caution.
