      Content Marketer Interview

      4 Apr 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at EduFund in Apr 2025

      Interview

The interviews I had with the senior content marketer and the head of marketing were really insightful. They take you calmly through the process. They don't do the entire powerplay thing there which I really liked. Like testing you on the basis of your skill rather than the number of years you've worked on or your degree. Trust me when I say this, these people were patient and respectful because I've taken a lot of interviews(since I was working remotely at agencies before so they couldn't match my offer) so I know what do bad interviews look like. I just hope this converts so I get to work with such people. Rarely seen skill being focused in on small/mid sized agencies. Wish me luck guys!

      Content Marketer Interview

      Pune
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EduFund (Pune) in Mar 2025

      Interview

I would like to formally express my grievance regarding the interview and selection experience with EduFund, which unfortunately turned out to be both disappointing and disheartening. As part of my campus placement process, I was shortlisted by EduFund and went through a rigorous six-stage selection process. This included an initial resume screening, followed by two assignment rounds (a video introduction and the creation of a social media reel), an HR interview, a round with the Content Marketing Head, and a final round with the Marketing Head. I was subsequently informed by my college placement cell that I had been selected for the role. EduFund also requested my documents to proceed with the offer letter, which my college duly forwarded. However, despite repeated follow-ups over the course of an entire month, there was no communication from EduFund regarding the issuance of the offer letter. I remained in touch with my college’s placement cell throughout this time, only to be informed later that the HR representative was unresponsive. Eventually, during my final exam week, it was conveyed that the HR team had finally responded and informed the placement cell that the offer was being revoked due to an internal budgetary constraint that prevented them from hiring a fresher. This decision was not only abrupt but extremely unprofessional, especially given that the selection had been confirmed and documentation had been submitted. Moreover, due to my placed status, I was restricted by my college placement policy from applying to several other opportunities during that time. This situation left me without an offer and with missed prospects that could have shaped the beginning of my career. Such experiences have a lasting impact on students who engage with placement processes in good faith and with high aspirations. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder of the importance of transparent and timely communication during recruitment processes, particularly when engaging with fresh graduates.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely regret how the situation unfolded and understand how disappointing it must have been, especially after progressing through several rounds and receiving confirmation of your selection. The decision to revoke the offer was due to unforeseen internal budgetary constraints and was in no way a reflection of your abilities or performance. We recognize that our delayed communication caused unnecessary stress, particularly during a crucial phase of your academic and professional journey, and we deeply apologize for that. Your feedback is important to us and has prompted internal discussions to ensure better transparency and accountability in the future. We hold your profile in high regard and would truly welcome the opportunity to reconnect when new opportunities arise. Wishing you all the very best in your career ahead, and thank you again for your understanding and patience.
