I applied in May 2017. I was contacted in July 2017, and asked if I would like to come in for an interview. They said that the position had been changed a bit and therefore, they hadn't yet interviewed or hired anyone. During the interview (with their executive director and the person who would be my supervisor), it was apparent that they had no idea what the position would actually entail, or what they needed from the person they were looking to hire. When I pointed this out, they continued to talk in circles, without going into specifics about the job or its responsibilities. I have a background in international education, and they could not accept the fact that domestic education issues also interest me, even after I explained my interests multiple times. Ultimately, I was offered a performance task and a second interview, which I declined.
