Received an offer for a phone interview 4 days after applying online for the Financial Advisor position. The interviewer immediately asked basic questions regarding my education and job experience. The interviewer then gave a brief history of Edward Jones and how the Financial Advisor position benefits the surrounding community. Explained how the hardest and most important decision of the employment opportunity would be where to set up my branch.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Edward Jones in Sept 2017
Interview
After emailing the recruiter back and forth was given a phone interview. Interview took no more than 30-45 minutes with mainly all behavioral questions. The recruiter was friendly and informative about the whole interview process.

Tell me about a time you were faced with a challenge and how did you respond?
I was put through a phone Interview. I was denied by the recruiter. I attended a Career Event and was then reconsidered for the position. I didn't feel like I was a good fit for their culture. The advisors seemed to be somewhat close minded.
