Good, the questions was good overall a great interview experience.
The Hiring manager was so kind and friendly to talk with and had the interview questions were moderate level or difficulty and they also helped whenever I got stuck
1st step was an introductory call with a recruiter.
2nd step was to do a take home assignment.
3rd step??? I got ghosted, there was no response not even at least a rejection email, very unprofessional and a waste of time.

Question 1
Scenario:
You are a technical support engineer at Eightfold. Users have been reporting issues
that they are not able to apply to any job position from the company site
(app.eightfold.ai/careers). This issue has been affecting the user experience and
causing frustration. Your task is to investigate and resolve this problem.
Task:
Your task is to troubleshoot and resolve the reported issue with the job application
failure. You will need to follow a systematic approach to identify the root cause of the
problem and provide a solution.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Eightfold (Santa Clara, CA) in May 2024
Interview
Initial chat with the recruiter was pleasant. Unfortunately, they wanted me to do a "take home assignment" without providing any sort of guidance or resources. I searched the Eightfold website for any sort of documentation but there was nothing available. How can you expect anybody to provide you with quality work when you don't even have documentation? How can somebody who is unfamiliar with the software even provide guidance to a customer on where to find menus or how to export data when we have no idea about the ins and outs of Eightfold?
I submitted my essay (it really felt like being in high school again) and they immediately rejected it. Was not even worth my time
