I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Elanco (Indianapolis, IN) in Nov 2016
Interview
As an intern, we were required to give a presentation over our projects and experience. We were also encouraged to meet with business unit leaders as they make the hiring decisions. In order to get the internship, we were required to go through an interview process which they paid travel to get to, did three one on one interviews, and were called with an offer later. The one on one interviews were completely behavioral based.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to make an unpopular decision.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Elanco (Wausau, WI) in Jan 2022
Interview
Received one call from a recruiter around 4pm (while I was working), received another around 9am the next day (also when I was working). I called back immediately after I was done working that day, had a short and rather bizarre conversation with the recruiter. Was told her boss would be calling me and “[I] should really pick up when he calls”. Left a bad taste and was rather disrespectful.

Interview
Normal SMART interview questions. 5-6 interviews with 1-2 people each. Good people with some hard questions. HR overview is good. Had lunch with a couple of the interviewers. At times very conversational. Allowed time for my questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Elanco
Interview
I thought the interview process was great, uncomplicated and personable. I enjoyed it. I interviewed in person and on the phone. I really liked the culture and the great people.
