Worst hiring process ever.
They want the candidate to be present at their office no matter what.
I stay in Pune, they made me travel all the way from Pune to Bangalore for the interview process promising the refund of the bus fare which I have still not received (it's been 3 months) after chasing 100+ times.
The interviewer was very adamant, he had questions and fixed answers to those questions and he couldn't accept the fact that there can be multiple approaches to solve a problem.
Summary: I wasted my 2 days. Slept 2 nights in a bus. Had the bizarre food from the restaurant that bus halted. And didn't even receive the ticket reimbursement I was promised for.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Elektrobit (Böblingen) in Nov 2019
Interview
There were three rounds of interview
- The initial call was with the Hiring manager
- Next round was with the hiring manager and team members with some technical questions based on previous projects
- Onsite Technical round with programming task and some introduction to the project.
The job was offered during the final interview and was told that the contract will be sent out in two weeks. The offer was declined after a wait of two months.
