I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Elsevier (London, England) in Apr 2020
Interview
I was contacted by their internal recruiter
They arranged for an remote online interview due to Covid-19
The interview consisted of questions around my experience with Java, Microservices and Kubernetes. The interviewer explained about their current tech stack which looked very interesting! She asked me about what kind of tech I have worked on and my experience with mentoring, code reviews, day to day responsibilities and some technical questions around testing, Java 8, functional programming, etc.
Overall I assumed it went well but I never heard back from them even after sending follow up emails which I found to be highly unprofessional.

2 Tech/management and 1 HR Round. It was great and here they focus mainly on behavior of candidate rather than tech skills. Interview process was smooth and fast. In 15 days received my offer letter.

If you ask me, don't waste your time with this company. My first interview was with a tech recruiter, which was long and boring. She asked me to complete an online test, which took 2-3 hours of my time. Despite sending follow-up emails, I haven't received any feedback from the company. Avoid it!
