I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Elsevier in Mar 2020
Interview
Beginning of February: Online application + 1st online test about logic, IQ tests, personality etc... (~1 hour)
Mid of March: First interview with HR, about motivation on joining the company and past experience (30 min)
Beginning of April: preparation of a presentation on a topic of your choice (~1/2 hours) which will take place on the online assessment + 2nd online test about personality (~1 hour)
Mid of April: Online assessment (~4/5 hours) with 2 technical/HR interviews + group exercise + presentation. They also answer all your questions about the program
A few days later the online assessment they asked some candidates to do an additional technical interview (~1 hour) because there were a lot of good candidates and they were not able to chose the best ones.
At the end of this lengthy process, I've been rejected. The only feedback they were able to give me was that there were better candidates than me for the role.
I would have expected, after such a long process (especially for an entry level role), a more detailed feedback, so that I could understand what went wrong with my interviews or what were their criteria of evaluation.
