They will interview you for ages, which includes a week-long home test, only for you to find out later that the pay is 40% less than the market. I literally had a better offer from another company for just Tableau analysis where the whole process took only 2 rounds. But this company will grill you over 5 rounds and a home test. They also expect you to be proficient in machine learning, deep learning, statistical tools and test, visualization, and even NLP. I did not find the interview process difficult but the company should consider being upfront about the salary package if they are this off the market range. Icing on top, they send me a rejection after all this with no explanation. Would have not expected anyway because of the experience. Do not recommend interviewing here even as practice. Invest that time in something worthwhile.

It started with an HR interview before moving to and interview with two of the hiring managers who were looking for someone with time series forecasting experience. I was honest with them about my sills and experience. In particular I told them I did not have much experience with deep learning (neural networks) but I did have a lot more experience with traditional time series forecasting methods. They gave me a large take home project to complete over 5 days. I spent a lot of time on it and used numerous different foresting techniques. When the time came to review my work they seemed completely focused on the fact that I didn't use deep learning to solve the problem. Of course I didn't! I told them a million times that I don't have experience with neural networks, but neural networks arn't the end all be all of forecasting. They were completely uninterested in the work I did and a week later I was rejected for "having skills limited to statistics and not deep learning." If they had actually read my resume and listened to me tell them multiple times that I don't have deep learning experience then they would not have wasted so much of my free time with their big project and multiple interviews. It was a frustrating experience.
