Embassy Suites interview questions

Had a in person interview with the Department Head John Myers, We spoke for 45 minutes and had great rapport, at the end of the interview he stated he was ready to offer me the position but had to check with his GM before tendering the offer, but was very positive regarding the offer. After 2 days of not hearing from John, I sent a very Professional Follow Up email and nothing … Ghosted. I have no issues regarding a background search and very qualified, not receiving an offer just comes with the Territory, however not notifying you that at this current time we are unable to offer you a position notice is really disrespectful, if a applicant prepares for a interview, comes to meet with you, at least show them the courtesy of not leaving them out there wondering. Karma leveled it out as 4 days later I was offered a much better position with a High End Restaurant … sometimes it just works out.
