Interview
I interviewed for a role and was asked standard questions about my background and experience. The interviewer was courteous and professional during our conversation. Afterward, I was sent a short personality assessment. While I understand its purpose, I find these assessments to be of limited value if the goal is to attract truly diverse and high-performing talent.
Following my interview, the interviewer personally called me to say that second-round interviews would begin the following week once the CEO’s schedule was confirmed, and that I would be contacted about next steps. However, instead of a follow-up, I later received an email stating the company had decided to move forward with other candidates.
That abrupt shift felt unprofessional and inconsistent with what had been communicated directly. If the company’s plans or priorities changed, a brief follow-up explanation would have reflected better leadership and respect for candidates’ time.
The interviewer also mentioned the position had been opened earlier in the year and put on hold due to business needs, which could indicate internal changes. Overall, the process left me questioning how organized or transparent the company is in its hiring approach. I still wish them success in finding the right candidate, but the experience did not inspire confidence.

I had 4 Incredibly long interviews, that got rescheduled multiple times, I ended up not getting the position, which is fine. If you can’t figure out if someone is the right employee after a resume, portfolio, cover letter, and one interview- YOU need to be trained better. I hope they have more respect for peoples time in the future. This was the worst interview process I have ever been through.
