I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Energy Industries Council (Kuala Lumpur) in May 2019
Interview
The interviewers are very professional and friendly. One of the interviewer flew from London for the interview. It was more of a getting to know you interview and they were very friendly during the interview process.
I applied online. I interviewed at Energy Industries Council (London, England)
Interview
Process:
1- Applied through a recruiter
2- Invited for first interview (Virtual using Teams) - 40 mins
3-Invited for Final Interview which is Face to Face in London ( Asked to write a 500 words report 24 hours prior to the Interview)
Afterwards:
I was offered the job but I declined. The job was advertised with a starting salary of £30k.
After the employer was happy to offer me the position, I was informed that it was a mistake and the starting salary supposed to be £25k a year.
The employer haven’t yet to apologise for the time and money wasted as I had to spend one day to research and write the report and another day for travelling to their office in London (keeping in mind that I was travelling from Birmingham)
Side note: the employer/hiring mangers were aware that I have almost 2 years experience in the sector, plus an Msc in energy and economics and yet somehow they claimed it’s a graduate role after the job was offered?!
What a waste of time, effort and money. Do not recommend!
