      Management Trainee Interview

      30 Apr 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Roseville, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Roseville, CA) in Mar 2012

      Interview

I met the college recruiter for Enterprise at the Career Fair for my college. I was told that I should apply online. Within a few days, I had receieve a email from the recruiter asking me to answer some questions about the salary, expereince, etc. A few days after that, I was offered a formal interview with the recruiter, which was the first phase of the interview. I was asked basic questions but some of his tactics were a little intimidating and I ended up making my plee of why I was the best candidate for the job. I was told immediately after the interview that I would receieve a 2nd interview, scheduled for the next week. The 2nd interview was like a more personable repeat of the first, but again, I had to make efforts to explain my plus within the questions I was asked. After the interview , I was told I would be moving to the final interview. The 3rd interview was like a shadow where I was able to watch a general day in the work of a manager. Then I received my third and final interview. The last one had more questions about how I dealt with difficult decisions and If I had any negative comments about my previous job and things I would do differently in a management position. After that they started talking salary. I was not told I got the job until about a week later, but I knew I had it. In each interview, I made sure to emphasis my leadership, communication skills, and previous sales experience ( all which are crucial to your sucess in this position and whether they think you are hirable). I have not started this position yet. Even the the pay is little for the hours I will be working and I know you work hard, I think I have a great opportunity to not only grow in this company but also to gain experience running a business, which is beneficial anywhere. I factor in the time they will be training me and helping me to effectively sell products and run a business. I know that they value me as an employee because I am an investment. Whether I will stay or not i don't know but I do know that my experience here will not be in vain. I am excited to learn and work here and I am grateful that I found a job right out of college that I can live out of. As long as I have SOME money in my pocket, im cool. The rest is cake.

      Interview

There were 3 rounds the first was easier the last one. That one was much more thorough and a little bit more challenging for certain questions. I felt a bit stumped, however they were all fairly aligned with the typical interview questions. Overall good but just be prepared

      Interview

Smooth and took about 2 weeks to complete. They're really interested in your ability to work in a fast paced environment and your ability to deal with an irate customer. It's a sales job after-all.
