I was already an employee (a Coach), applying for a Shift Manager position. It was fairly short, simple, and unscripted.
[the following times are approximate]
Recruiters email the whole department a listing of internal job openings, and I found one I was interested in (Shift Manager) so I followed the instructions to email an Associate Director, attaching my resume. Having worked with the company for some time (a year), they were familiar with, and had previously interviewed, me. They asked the typical questions, then one brain-teaser type question. They got back to me about a second interview the following week, where I did a presentation on a topic selected from a list they provided. They got back to me after another week, for a final meeting with the VP and 2 Associate Directors. I was told 1 other candidate had gotten that far, then told I got the position a week after that.
