I applied in-person. I interviewed at Equip for Equality (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I was interviewed by an Intake Manager and a Managing Attorney. Both of them were very friendly. Then I was interviewed by the Director of Legal Advocacy, who was formal but very kind.
The interview process was quite streamlined. The job posting was posted online, the interview lasted approximately 30 minutes. There was a panel of three attorneys, all very mission-oriented. Overall a positive interview experience
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Equip for Equality (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Phone interview, followed by in person interview with supervisor. Met more informally with staff attorneys. There was also a skills test. Not surprisingly, they are looking for very committed people who are comfortable working long hours for modest pay, and that was a topic of discussion.
