I applied online. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Rochester, NY)
Interview
Interview process was kind 2 one to one sessions with the supervisory manager and the final round was with 2 more senior officials. All of them were so cordial and gave clarity about the role and career path. The expectation towards the candidate was on how good he is a communicator and able to sustain continual sales process of generating prospects and converting into business.

Question 1
After the typical introductory rounds the key question was around, how good am I at generating prospects and adhering to continuous sales process
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.
Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Interview
Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
