One interview with technical and behavioral questions as well. It was 1 hour interview with 30 mins assessment as well as HR questions . Over the phone interview as well as in person
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Equitable Bank (Toronto, ON)
Interview
One HR call after over a month of applying and then technical round with tech lead and manager. The HR round was great while the technical round was bit hostile since from the first answer itself they were cutting me off during my answer. I felt it was pre-decided that they didn't want to hire me and were looking for reasons.

Interview
I applied to EQ on their website for the role. I heard back from them by phone call about 2 weeks later. I talked to the talent manager about the role and learned that their salary range was in the range of 80-100k base for the position. Given that I make 115k base in a similar position, with very similar benefits (which they tried to sell me on) at the company I'm currently employed at, I wasn't impressed. This is at a smaller company located in Toronto already.
I said that that base salary was unacceptable and that if they were unwilling to increase the amount to 125k, then it wasn't even worth considering. He said he'd talk to a manager about it and let me know. That was more than a week ago and I haven't heard back since.
I was surprised the salary range was so low for a senior position. I've read other reviews here that EQ is below the market rate, and I got confirmation of that first-hand.
